The flush of new growth
The first rose on the arbor, looks on at my growing garden, as absorbed as a city dweller viewing an accident across his street, through his high raised window.
I don't understand abstract art. Art that is interested in the relation of color and form or any thing else, is like an over complicated statment of philosophy, in which the essence is lost. I like art that tells a story. It lets your eyes and mind wander into a world, not just filled with color and design, but full of human emotions and thought.
quote
In gardens, beauty is a by-product. The main business is sex and death. ~Sam Llewelyn
I realise that I am smaller than the smallest dust particle, when viewed in propotion to the stars up there. But that does not mean I have to be humble, how ever measly my existance may seem. My mind creates this world I live in and I am its lord. The God of my own illusion.
